At Sunderland Young Professionals, we’re all about bringing people in their 20s and 30s together to meet new people, make connections and, most importantly, have a good time.

We know that traditional networking isn’t everyone’s cup of tea. Standing around with a name badge, making awkward small talk and trying to work out who you should speak to isn’t exactly our idea of a great night out!

That’s why Sunderland Young Professionals is a little different.

We’re creating a friendly, relaxed and welcoming community where you can come along, get involved and meet people naturally. Think bowling, sports, activities, nights out and plenty of opportunities to have a laugh, with networking happening along the way without you even realising it.

Whether you’re new to the region, new to your career, looking to grow your professional network or simply want to meet some new people, you’re welcome here (and you don’t have to live or work in Sunderland to come along to our events, we’re an open community so everyone is welcome).

There’s no pressure to sell yourself, hand out business cards or give your elevator pitch, just turn up, get involved and be yourself.

You don’t need to commit to a membership or subscription, simply come along to an event and you’re part of the community.

We want Sunderland Young Professionals to be a place where you can meet potential colleagues, collaborators, clients and contacts  but also people you might simply end up grabbing a drink with after the event.
